How can we help?

How do I place an order?
There are two primary ways to place an order:
- The Balance App is easy and convenient — order from home or work, and skip the line upon arrival. Receive your food via curbside pick-up for a safe and contact-free ordering experience.
- Place an order inside your preferred Balance location at one of our self-ordering kiosks. Simply place your order for carryout or dine-in, and wait for your name to be called.
Visit balance.catering to place an order for a group of 10 or more!

How long have you been in business?
We were founded by friends and entrepreneurial business partners HoChan Jang (CJ) and Prakash Karamchandani (PK) in February 2010 with a simple mission in mind: to serve happiness through food. Check out our full story here.

Do you participate in any sustainability efforts?
We proudly strive to be an eco-friendly and green company. Our Bowls and Lids are made with compostable, biodegradable materials, and we encourage customers dining in with us to separate trash and recyclables.
In 2018, we established a partnership with GoZERO to allow for in-store composting, with composting memberships available to community members who wish to bring their compost buckets to our facilities.

How is Balance responding to COVID-19 updates and precautions?
Throughout the global pandemic, we’ve made the health and safety of our customers and Fam Members our top priority. Working closely with local, state and federal safety experts, our restaurant operations often err on the side of caution.
Throughout the pandemic, we implemented new and frequent sanitizing measures for work stations, dining areas, and restrooms, and also increased how often our employees switch gloves and wash their hands. We continue to assess whether it is safe for our dining rooms to remain open to the public during surges and rises of new COVID-19 variants. Our staff are required to take their temperatures every day before starting their shifts, and to wear masks through the remainder of their shifts.
The inclusion of contact-free curbside pick-up service began as a COVID-19 protocol, and will remain a key part of our operations moving forward.
