Meet Our New Summer Menu

lighter cravings. late afternoon pick-me-ups. a little more on-the-move.

Summer shifts how you eat.

School’s out, and so is the sun. That means more time outside, and a lot more to fit into the day.

All the more reason you want something quick and fresh. Something that still hits.

That’s why this summer, we’ve refreshed the menu to match that rhythm, from salads and sandos to matcha-based lattes and dessert — made for any time, any day.

summery salads that actually hold up

Salads aren’t an afterthought here.

They’re built to be something you actually want, not something you settle for.

“We’re not reinventing salads — we’re fixing them.” – Prakash Karamchandani (“PK”)

That starts with what most places skip: the dressing. For us, everything’s made in-house, fresh, every day. No shortcuts.

And our lineup leans familiar, but we push it further.

  • The Asian Caesar Salad brings a deeper garlic punch with a subtle kick from Szechuan peppercorns.
  • The Hibachi Salad pulls from that classic ginger-carrot dressing you get at the start of a hibachi meal — bright, sharp, and made fresh daily.

Quick to grab. Easy to customize. Strong enough to stand on their own.

sandos, done right

Japanese sandos have been everywhere — online, in travel videos, and across menus from New York to Los Angeles.

But for such a simple item, it’s super hard to get right, which is why you rarely see it local.

Our new Japanese Egg Sando? It’s done right and done here.

It starts with the bread.

Balance worked with Tous Les Jours, a Korean-French bakery, to develop a custom milk bread, enriched with mascarpone to hold its structure and bring a light sweetness to each bite.

From there, it’s about simplicity and letting the ingredients shine.

  • Boiled eggs made in-house
  • Kewpie mayo for richness
  • Salt, pepper, scallions

That’s it.

“Sandos are so simple, but every element has to be just right — otherwise they fall apart.” – HoChan Jang (“CJ”)

A short ingredient list, dialed all the way in. Every detail matters, and you can taste it.

matcha, made for the moment

Matcha shows up this summer as a lighter kind of pick-me-up.

Not coffee, not bubble tea. It sits in its own lane.

Something you can reach for early in the day, late in the afternoon, or somewhere in between.

Sourced from ceremonial-grade organic Japanese matcha and whisked fresh to order, it brings a smoother, more balanced flavor than what you might expect.

Matcha shows up in a few different ways this summer, from the OG Matcha Latte to white chocolate and fruit-forward options like strawberry, mango, and banana made with real purées.

And then there’s matchamisu.

Our matcha-fied take on tiramisu, layered in-house with mascarpone for something sweet, but not heavy.

Another way to mix things up this summer season.
